Shadows
Play: Go outside and explore the children’s shadows. This play may lead to an inquiry about reflections and/or silhouettes. Set up mirrors to explore reflections. I purchased two mirrors at the Dollar Store. They can be used flat or taped together to create a standing mirror. Set up a provocation with mini flashlights and paper to explore silhouettes.
