Shop now: Moose is Afraid/ Orignal a peur
Thank you so much to Teresa Hadley @joys.of.learning for sharing how she used “Moose is Afraid” to help extend her children’s understanding of Pink Shirt Day.
I used Teresa’s idea in a grade 1/2 classroom recently and I was amazed at the empathy the children felt for Moose and his fear of heights. They all agreed how important it was to help their friends and shared ideas of how they could be supportive on the playground at recess. “Some people aren’t kind, but we can be kind”. Words to live by!
